Garage surely provides more security. However it isn’t easy to own a garage. It might seem very easy to find a small space where to put your car. But a garage is a real property as any other. And that means the same process of purchase and the administration.

If you are purchasing a garage, make sure you are purchasing also the land under it. The real owner could later want you to pay rent of the land or make you tear down the garage.
While signing the purchase contract, make sure all information is valid and nothing would surprise you later. With purchase contract the whole process only begins. You become an owner of the garage after it is listed in land registry. Sale of garages in Prague is still current, especially in the development projects.
